Although the U3A has a wide range of groups covering various interests, there are occasions when those who live on their own might think ‘I’d like to go there/do that but have no-one to go with’, so the MOTO (Members On Their Own) group was formed.

If you would like to join in some of our activities and are not currently on this particular mailing list, please let me know – you will then get notification/reminders on our planned activities.

The MOTO group have enjoyed one or two trips lately. A large group of us joined up with Cheveley Evergreens and had a lovely day at Felixstowe (complete with fish and chip lunch!) and some members also went to St Ives for the day. A visit to Kirtling Church for their Friends Day on 26th September is also planned.
Our next activity will be a visit to Scotsdales at Horningsea on Thursday, 19th November for a look round the shop (lots of lovely Christmassy
things!) and lunch at 12.00. If you think you will be joining us for lunch, please let me know so I can book a suitably-sized table.
