Our group has brought together writers with many levels of experience, from absolute beginners to published authors. The common bond between us is that we all want to write, mostly just for fun.

A monthly topic is chosen for the next meeting, but members can bring anything they would like to share and get feedback on, if they don’t want to follow the prompt.  

There is no instruction from the group, although our members are happy to give advice to anyone new to the creative writing process, should they want it. Feedback is given on each story read, and our critiques are positive and encouraging.

Currently, we write approximately 500 words to allow time for each member to read their work and give us time to discuss it. 

We find the meetings focus us to produce work which we might otherwise not take the time to write. 

Anyone wishing to start creative writing or continue with their projects are welcome to join our friendly group. We meet every third Tuesday of the month at Brampton Manor Care Home, which is very comfortable for our sessions.
