A recent discussion was centred on the challenge of sustaining green policies to combat global warming. This is in the wake of drastic rises in the cost and restricted availability of carbon based energy sources, gas, oil etc. which we now import from all over the world. Last year there was a certain pride in the leadership stance being promoted by the UK hosting the COP climate conference but now the realities of pursuing these policies seem expensive and uncomfortable.

Our discussions change every month depending on what is topical and interesting. If you have something you would like to discuss in a convivial group over a cup of tea or coffee please contact one of the group co-ordinators.
